Electrical cables and wiring are the main means of distributing electrical power in property. Using cables according to the needs of each electric equipment to be used is the main condition for safe and appropriate electrical use. For example, while 1.5m2 cable is sufficient for lighting, 2.5m2 for sockets and 4m2 for cooker are the minimum cable sizes that should be used. According to the 18th Edition of IET Wiring Regulation, all cables must have an Earth cable.

Live cable is Brown

Neutral cable is Blue

Earth cable is Yellow/Green
